Q
What can I expect when I visit?
A
You
can
expect
to
find
people
who
love
the
Lord
and
are
gathered
to
worship
God,
study
His
word,
and help others to know and love Him better.
Q
How will I be treated?
A
You
can
be
sure
that
you
will
be
greeted
in
a
warm
and
friendly
manner
by
people
who
are
interested in only what is best for you.
Q
Will I be asked to do anything?
A
You
will
not
be
asked
to
do
anything
which
would
embarrass
you
or
put
you
under
pressure
to
do
anything
you
do
not
want
to
do.
All
we
ask
is
that
you
come
to
observe,
listen,
and
participate
to
the
extent
you
desire.
(You
might
be
asked
to
fill
out
a
visitor’s
card,
but
whether
you
do
is
entirely
up
to
you.)
Q
What kind of activities can I expect?
A
All
assemblies,
except
the
Sunday
11:00
period
of
worship,
are
conducted
as
Bible
classes
with
give-and-take
exchanges
between
the
teachers
and
students
as
the
students
desire.
The
worship
period
begins
and
ends
with
brief
prayers,
and
in
between
there
are
the
singing
of
several
hymns,
a
sermon, the Lord’s Supper, and the collection of funds from members.
Q
Are people of all races and religions welcome?
A
The
racial
composition
of
the
church
is
as
mixed
as
the
New
Jersey
communities
in
which
its
members
live.
The
church
seeks
and
welcomes
visitors
from
all
racial,
ethnic,
and
religious
backgrounds.
Q
How should I dress when I visit?
A
The
church
has
no
formal
dress
code
or
uniforms
and
is
much
more
interested
in
a
person
than
his
or
her
clothes.
Yet,
it
also
appreciates
those
who
seek
to
express
their
sense
of
the
seriousness
of
the
public
worship
of
God
by
appropriately
modest
and
respectful
attire.
Since
members’
clothing
styles
range
from
casual
to
dressy,
visitors
may
count
on
feeling
comfortable
if
their
dress
fits
the
same description.
Q
Do I need to bring a Bible?
A
A
Bible-centered
church
such
as
this
is
happy
to
see
you
walk
in
with
a
Bible.
Otherwise,
pew
Bibles have been left in racks throughout the auditorium for your convenience.
